"Breach of confidential information"

Disgraceful. I booked an appointment to renew my prescription. Upon arrival at that appointment I was told my name was not on the list and the doctor was off sick.

I was told the surgery had called to cancel which I couldn’t understand as I had no missed calls! After some further conversation I discovered (being told by reception the details of another patient) that they had obviously booked in the wrong patient! And had been calling the wrong person to cancel!! The two names were completely different! I do hope my details were not disclosed like the other persons were to me!! Since the new practice manger started the place has gone down hill rapidly. I’ve been a patient here for years and never known such a circus in all my life!
