I had to call 111 because my husband was in pain. I have never called 111 before. They sent an ambulance out to us and it arrived within 15 mins. We were panicking and very worried, we had just had a family member passed away and had a lot going on, the ambulance staff were amazing. They were kind and calm and very professional. They were called Ian and Paul and were on vehicle 415.
They let me go in the ambulance with my husband and took us to Swinton hospital, were we were seen very quickly. Ian came to see us when he had brought another job to hospital.
They really went above what was required at a very difficult time for me and my husband and I wanted to say how amazing they were. I feel very privileged that they attended us on that day.
