What I liked
I had a Colonoscopy on 19th August 2011., with an outpatient appointment a week preceeding this.
Everything about about this event which was part of the National Bowel Cancer Sreening Programme was on time, efficient and caring. The outcome was successful in that I had twelve polyps removed which if left could have developed into bowel cancer.
So I am grateful that all this was so efficiently dealt with.
What could be improved
The patient waiting area was not a very confortable place to be.
"The NHS at its best!"
