"Most impressive service"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Ambulatory Care

(as the patient),

I was most impressed with the service  and care I received at the Ambulatory Care Unit for the removal of a subcutaneous cyst on my chin. I had the appointment for the minor operation within 3 weeks of the referral from my GP, I wasn't expecting anything so quick.

David and Maureen, the nurses, were both very professional. They explained what the procedure would involve at the beginning, what they would do during the procedure and what the after care would involve.  David kept telling me what he was doing throughout. He was very impressive,

The whole process took about 25 minutes - so quick!

Maureen and I would like to thank you for leaving such positive feedback.

I am glad you understood I was talking you through the procedure to reduce your anxiety, not to remind myself what happens next!

It is nice to hear we were able to see you promptly, it doesn't reflect everyone's experience of the N.H.S., but we try our best.

Hopefully everything is going as planned and you are healing well.

Thanks again

David
