"Staff made this horrible time more bearable"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Gynaecology Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Reproductive Health (Simpson Centre)

(as the patient),

I recently had a miscarriage. It has been a very traumatic and sad experience, but the staff at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary Pregnancy Support Centre were amazing and made this horrible time more bearable with their care and professionalism.

From Lisa who answered my initial call, to the sonographers Jamie and Gillian who did the scans and Kaylie the staff nurse who looked after us (apologies for any spelling mistakes), thank you so very much. I really appreciated how you managed everything so efficiently and compassionately.

I am so sorry that you have had a miscarriage, this must be a very sad and upsetting time for you.

Thank you for taking the time to share how caring and compassionate the staff in the Pregnancy Support Centre were at what was a very difficult time for you. I will share your comments with the staff as I know they will appreciate them.

I hope you are beginning to recover, at least physically, from your miscarriage although I know that this takes time.
