I have had cause to visit the eye casualty at Sheffield Hallamshire Hospital on 2 occasions in the last 4 weeks. The service I have received on both occasions has been exemplary. The Nurses seen on both occasions have taken the time to listen and actually hear what I have said to them. They both provided treatment based on my personal circumstances, i.e. what was best for me at the time and not just what they would 'normally do'. They treated me with professionalism and respect on each occasion. They are a credit to the organisation.
My only 'niggle' would be the amount of personal information relating to why I was there that the receptionist asked me for when I was booking in. The booking in area is not private and I could see that others in the waiting area were listening to my 'story'. As a nurse I know the receptionist does not need the amount of detail that she requested.
"Amazing service"
