I was asked to attend to see a lower limb consultant on the 28/03/2018 as my previous consultant had retired,I attended to see the consultant and told him I still had discomfort with my knee,he examined it and sent me for X-rays immediately and he would be doing further examinations on it later after he had seen the X-rays,I received a letter confirming another date for a further appointment on the 18/04/2018 for X-rays and blood count which I attended.A few weeks later again received a letter for a further appointment to attend the Peter Smith Surgery centre for slight operation involving X-rays and removal of fluid from knee to see if ther was any infection this was all completed within 3 hours which was very satisfying,Today 6/06/2018 I saw the consultant again and he assured me that all results were satisfying and I don’t need any more treatment and he will see me in 1 years time, my time with this consultant and his fabulous team including all X-ray staff was excellent and I certainly felt very comfortable with them even though I still have a little discomfort thanks again to everyone.I have received first class treatment over the last 3 months and I recommend this hospital for its service during this difficult time for the National Health Service.
