"Not the practice that I signed up to."

I have been with the practice since the day it opened more than 31 years ago and it used to be really caring and you could always get an appointment.

Now it is impossible to get an appointment with your own doctor.

I have NEVER been seen thoughout my treatment for breast cancer, although I have tried on several occasions to get an appointment but it has never been possible.

I have had one phone call from my GP after major surgery to see it I was 'ok', of course I was NOT OK and am not ok neither physically or mentally but I feel they could not give a dam!

To top it off I have just tried to make an appointment with a doctor because I have a lump on my leg and was on a flight a couple of days ago and just wanted it checked.

The only appointment I was offered I could not take because I have to be somewhere else at the same time so was offered a nurse practitioners appointment (whatever that is) which I took to be then rang back and told if I thought I had a DVT I should go to A&E!!!!!

I dont know what I have got, thats why I wanted to see a doctor!!!!!.

I am very vunerable right now but have given up trying to get an appointment to talk to my GP.

Obviously I'm not worthy of their services so I shall not bother anymore
