About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital / Accident and emergency

We went into the minor injuries department last night after my partner had a accident during the day and got progressively worse during the evening. We arrived about 7pm and wasn’t waiting as long as I’d expect.

The nurses and Drs where great. However, the person who checked us in and took our details was horrendous. She was abrupt, rude, would stop taking to you in order to chat to someone else where her. Made rude sly comments, rolled her eyes and just in general was horrendous. I work within the NhS myself and was appalled with how she treated people. She also needs to lower her tone and voice as when we where finally checked in by her, and whilst we was waiting for her to check us in we could clearly hear her repeating other patients details! Names, date of births and even addresses - even stepping back from the sign to keep confidential details private you could still hear her!
