"My heart attack and the treatment"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Cardiac Catherterisation University Hospital Wishaw / Cardiology (Ward 4)

(as a service user),

I had a heart attack January this year. The care from the ambulance service, nurses, doctors, surgeons was excellent, without fault. I had a stent inserted. I now want to praise the work of the cardiac rehab unit at Wishaw General Hospital. I went through a 16-session course. The physios and nurses were frankly terrific. Not only did they put you through your paces, but made it enjoyable. And all the time keeping a close eye on you. They even made you forget you were in a rehab unit.   I cannot praise them all highly enough!
