"Endoscopy - Excellent staff"

I attended an outpatients endoscopy appointment today and was extremely petrified and anxious beforehand. The nurse admitting me   ( Tania ) was really nice and put me at ease. I was then taken for the endoscopy and both nurses ( June &   cant remember the other nurses name) were both so lovely - talked me through everything and gave me reassurance right through the procedure. Dr naismith was also excellent and the procedure was over with quickly. I was then taken to recovery and met by a lovely nurse carol who looked after me until I was ready to go back to the ward area. I am so thankful to all of these nurses and Dr naismith for the proffesionalism shown and reassurance given to me and hope my thanks will be passed on to them. The unit was immaculate and the hand hygiene was impeccable. These staff are a credit to the Endoscopy unit and to the NHS!
