"Excellent Tea Dance for the patients"

About: University Hospital Wishaw

(as a relative),

Well done to the team at Wishaw General today. An excellent tea dance was organised in the Sanctuary. My relative is a patient in the hospital and was taken along to listen to songs sung by 2 lively ladies, tunes from the 1940, 50's and 60's. Everyone really had a great afternoon.

All the patients really enjoyed themselves and this was followed by afternoon tea. Staff went above and beyond today. Fantastic effort by all. Thank you.

Dear AN Rel

Thank you for your feedback, I attended the tea dance too, it was wonderful to see our patients so happy. This was done as part of our dementia awareness week activities and is amazing to see the joy and conections made through music.

Given the success and feedback we intend to make this a more regular event for our patients.

So glad your relative and you both enjoyed it.

Kind Regards

Gillian
