"Intravenous drip came out. I Could have bled out."

About: Worcestershire Royal Hospital

The intravenous drip came out in my sleep, I woke about 2am in a pool of blood, blood was still coming out of the needle in my arm, i was taking warfarin so my blood would not clot. I called the one young nurse on duty who told me to wash myself she would clean up. She said she couldn't put the drip back in.

I take Tremadol m/r 200mg for chronic back pain, hospital didn't have any, told me to make arrangements to get some from home, which left me in agony until next day.

I keep thinking if I hadn't woke up when I did I could have bled out.
