"Treated fairly quickly and very well despite..."

About: Leighton Hospital / Accident and emergency

Took my mother into A&E after suspected mini-stroke symptoms and we were seen very quickly by the lovely chap on the temporary reception who spoke kindly to my mother and then got the stroke nurse to see her almost immediately.

She had a scan then we waited quite a while but they were REALLY busy and you can see how NHS cuts are affecting things.

However, the Doctor she saw was a really decent and kind man who was a consultant and very professional.

Aside from the nurse at the end who was a bit swift removing my needle from my mothers hand which bled quite a lot at first she did cover it again when asked.

All things considered a very positive experience.

Thanks to all concerned.
