I’ve used a couple of private hospitals for day procedures.
Spire was pretty good, but with a few notable exceptions.
The room on the day was pretty snappy and my gown had blood marks on it from a prior patients use, clean no doubt but stained never the less.
I felt they sent me home before I was well enough but I was too groggy to realise before I was feeling nauseous on the motorway.
They sent me home with drugs I needed to pay for without telling me I needed to pay. I received an invoice after the effect and they told me that it was included in the admissions documentation. The admissions lady told me I would be advised in advance if I needed to pay for anything.
In short I am left feeling a bit flat and cheated by the experience, but at leat the specialist seems to have done the surgery well.
"Not up to scratch"
