"Absolutely appalling"

I attended for a blood test (30 minutes before the department opened), took a ticket and went to the reception area to wait as there was no room in the waiting room. After waiting for an hour I had the audacity to use the toilet which resulted in me missing my call for my test by one number. I went to reception only to be told. I would need to take another ticket and wait my turn!! Had I missed by 10 patients fair enough but one?!! Really!! The nurse I spoke to was downright rude and unhelpful. I admit my response was not polite. I have never had bad treatment at this hospital before and was absolutely furious and disgusted with the way I was spoken to. I understand these are busy departments but there has to be some understanding that people may miss their number being called as it is just a case of watching a screen which is not visible from reception or the toilet!
