I should like to offer some words of praise to your staff at the Eye Hospital, who did a fantastic job recently sorting out my cataract – they were without exception kind, courteous and professional. The consultant and her excellent colleagues are all a great credit to the National Health Service.

The NHS is our most precious asset, it's staff are the most professional and dedicated I have met anywhere. We should never, ever take it for granted, and should always be grateful, and show that gratitude, for the great work that its people do, and they in turn should be proud of their achievements.
