"Shocking service"

About: Royal Preston Hospital / Accident and emergency

Patient confidentiality and privacy was obeyed as a patient collapsed in A&E and nurse was talking about over patients took a good few minutes for the emergency buzzer to be pressed. Also an old lady which clearly had dementia wasn’t being helped by anybody. Staff laughing and smirking as your told you’ll be next and another few people go in after waiting over 4 hours when you’ve come in with a heart problem!!

Thank you for letting us know about this; please would you consider contacting our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01772 522972 so they can take further details from you, as we are sure that our Emergency Department management would appreciate the opportunity to investigate this.

PALS can be contacted Monday to Friday from 9 - 4pm
