"Ashley House has helped me to socialise and cope better with my finances"

(as a service user),

Since coming to Arch Initiatives at Ashley House with the support of my keyworker Maureen and members of the alcohol team that takes place every Wednesday in Ashley House and is facilitated by Maureen. It has helped me to socialise with others and I have also benefitted from the therapies I have received from Vida.

Maureen has also introduced me to SHAP and this is helping me to cope better with my finances. I am continuing with this support.

I have made this statement with the support of my worker.

Thank you for your kind words about your key-worker who I will ensure is made aware of your posting. It is good to know that you are being helped in a range of different ways and that you are starting to address all the issues that have led to you needing help from Ashley House. I think it is important that to aid recovery we not only focus on a persons substance misuse but also on other areas of their life which are connected to the misuse.
