"A and E.Broken ankle.Follow up at Fracture clinic."

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent / Accident and emergency

I went to A and E with a suspected broken ankle.I was seen in 20 mins.Sent for an x-ray.It was found I had broken my ankle. The ankle was set in plaster. From checking in to A and E to leaving was an hour and a half.Brilliant.

A week later I had an appointment at the fracture clinic.I was early.Within an hour I was seen by the consultant.Plaster off and a boot fitted. Marvellous service.
