I understand the pressure on GPS to stick to a timetable and make sure appointments are finished on time. However, when taken in to an appt 20 mins late, I was rushed out by the doctor (who did not have the time to talk about my issue) and told to wait ANOTHER two weeks for an appt. The second appt, booked specifically to last 20 mins instead of 10, was just as useless as the first. I was seen by a seperate doctor who had no idea why I was there, and was ‘not qualified’ to give me the check needed. Why, then, was I booked in with this doctor? Despite having a seperate concern to discuss, I was again rushed out of my twenty minute appt after only 8 min.
The blood I had taken (by a very kind and skillful nurse) was meant to be tested for a more than one issue. From these tests, however, the only information I have been given is a text reading that the results are ‘normal’. Texting blood results may be an efficient way to communicate some results... however knowing that my bloods are ‘normal’ does not help me get any closer to knowing what is causing my health issues.
I feel completely helpless and have no choice but to wait until I visit my parents later this year.
"Two appointments I have still not received care..."
