My GP referred me to a podiatrist within my local health authority. I was impressed by the fact that only a couple of days after this GP appointment I had communication from the podiatry service in Forth Valley asking me to get in touch to let them know when I would/wouldn't be available for an appointment.
Another couple of days later this was made for me and I have already been seen by a podiatrist at my local health centre... within a few weeks of that first GP appointment! This is commendable.
The podiatrist I saw, named Claire, was the loveliest person with a very agreeable personality, explaining everything along the way, and very helpful indeed. What a great advert for staff employed within the NHS. Employees like this are worth their weight in gold. Thank you, Forth Valley Podiatry Service.
