"Living in hope."

About: Southampton General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

Hello

Been waiting now 28 weeks -  severe stenosis at c3 c4 - feel like I have been forgotten about.

My life is on hold. One bad fall could leave me in a wheelchair. Can't drive, my wife drives me but a slight accident would leave me with life changing injuries.

Too frightened to go out, so depressed - the pain. I can see no future in my life,  just left waiting and waiting. The way it's going will be lucky if I get my spinal surgery this year.

Please can you give me some hope I can get my life, my job and start living again. I won't go outside if it is raining or ice.

Thanks, living in hope.
