I was diagnosed with breast cancer last August 2017.
I attended the breast care unit and my consultant, I cannot praise enough. With all the scans and biopsies I had, the consultant was exceptionally kind, caring and explained every process to me along the way. I agree with the previous post about clinics running late, it is because they CARE enough to give you the time required for you not the time dictated by management. The consultant performed my lumpectomy and I was then passed to the wonderful ONCOLGY team.
The Oncology team, as a whole, from the doctors who planned my treatment to the nurses who administered the chemo was an exceptionally high standard. I found the whole team to be sympathetic, supportive and considerate. I knew, every step of the way, what was planned for me and each Oncologist I saw would take the time to explain all side effects etc. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the Breast Care Staff.
Would I recommend PAH??? A most definite YES from me.
And special thanks to my team ……………THANK YOU.
