"Light hearted banter, patience and empathy."

About: Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

We would like to sincerely thank all midwives and staff on labour ward and ward 17 following the recent birth of our daughter.

Everyone made our experience special and enjoyable.  What could be a very daunting experience was made so much better by all the staff going the extra mile and always having a smile, light hearted banter, patience and empathy.
We came in contact with lots of the staff on these wards but a special thanks goes to labour ward - Bev, Cora, Vicky, Audrey, Margaret.
ward 17- Helen, Nicole, Inca and  Kelly
You all obviously love your jobs and your care and dedication was very much appreciated.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I shall share this with the staff you have mentioned. We appreciate that havinf a baby can be a daunting experience and we strive to support women and their families to the best of our ability.

I hope all is going smoothly at home with your daughter.

best wishes

Shona
