"Review from a specialist"

About: The Gables Medicentre

A peculiarity of online review behaviour is that a dissatisfied patient will tend to be motivated towards leaving negative feedback, so here is a qualified and sincere comment on this practice.

Getting access to a GP can be tough, but remember, in Triage, we classify the subsystems according to urgency. In the NHS we have 999, Air Ambulance, Paramedics, Walk in Centres, General Practice and Specialist Clinics. This means you can be treated for free and in accordance with emergent circumstances.

With that in mind, I’m a 32yo Male presenting with seizures and comorbid Major Depression. At this practice, I was given treatment options and referrals relevant to this.

What is marvellous and not mentioned about this practice is the depth and breadth of expertise shown by these Doctors and indeed the professional attitude that presents with not only objectivity and clarity, but the empathy that is so often quoted as being missing.

These Doctors have your health as their primary concern, you can place your trust in them and they are inimitable in their resolve to treat you quickly; more importantly in my opinion, correctly.

The most amazing observation I can make is that not only will you receive the best care, but also the expert opinion of a professional.

My seizures were explained in common sense terms and yet when I asked for clarifications, the Doctors were unfailing in elucidating the options with relevance to contraindications, pharmacology, physiology, gross anatomy and indeed neurology.

Having access to this expertise is unheard of in other countries. To be able to ask for a telephone consultation and that same day talk to a GP is frankly astounding.

I am proud to be under the care of the entire practice.

You cannot get better care, even in the private sector.

We get this free.

Be honest with these Doctors, you will not regret it.

[Personal thanks to all the staff, especially one doctor - you do a great job and are not thanked enough for it]
