Admitted for carpal tunnel decompression surgery at 8am. Everything in the ward was spotless and the nurses and staff were polite, attentive and ready to help. The surgeon, Mr Patel, arrived about 8:30 on his rounds. Number 2 on his list I was in pre-op at 9:30, in theatre by 9:40 for what turned out to be a 20 minute procedure under local anaesthetic. Back in the ward by 10:20 and readied for discharge. If this is typical of the staff, care and process for the NHS Queen Margaret hospital and the day surgery unit I can only rate them as 5 *****. Well done everyone and thank you.
