What could be improved

There's a real shortage of staff on the wards. At the weekends there was just one nurse to several rooms of patients and it was impossible to get her attention. It took 5 hours of asking to get my father's drip replaced and his medication administered. The nurse was quite rude to us when we were asking, but she was clearly very stressed and overworked. We are struggling to get my father even the basic level of care. We make sure a member of family is there constantly during visiting hours to do all the things auxiliary nurses should be doing for him, all we are asking is that they give him his medication on time.
