"Respiratory clinic appointment"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Respiratory medicine

I attended an outpatients appointment in the respiratory clinic on Wednesday 23rd May. I am registered as Deaf/Blind and from the moment of entering the hospital I received fantastic care. The lovely receptionist arranged for me to to be taken to the correct department for my appointment.

From arriving in the clinic, I was seen very quickly by both the nurse and consultant. The consultant took the time to explain everything and took into account my communication needs. All the staff were very friendly, polite and professional.

All the staff that I met that day were very professional and friendly, and made me feel at ease, from the receptionist, to the member of staff who took me to clinic, the staff in the respiratory clinic and the x-ray department. Thank you Tameside hospital.
