I had suffered a burn from boiling water and was in extreme pain. I was effectively and efficiently triaged when I arrived in A&E and given suitable pain relief. The doctor had reviewed my burn and sent images to a specialist at another hospital, this was done in a timely manner. They had used an online app to send the images to be reviewed, this demonstrating how the department is effectively using technology to improve patient care. All of the nurses involved in my care were very reassuring and treated me with respect and empathy. Overall, I was very impressed with the staff and the quality of care I received,
"Excellent emergency care for a burn."
