I was admitted for surgery within 2 weeks of a diagnosis. Following instructions regarding my own preparation I was admitted mid-morning and a couple of hours later was already involved in a lengthy operation.
The aftercare, following on from the excellent surgeons, was of the highest order and performed by genuinely good people. So many people were involved at this stage from the cheerful nursing staff to the happy and very efficient cleaners. One of the cleaners said that my appreciative comments were the first he'd had (shame).
All these lovely people in all departments helped
my life and I have nothing but live and praise for everyone. Thank you N&NUH. You are a truly remarkable hospital.
