"My mum"

My mum was diagnosed with lung cancer and secondary bone cancer in July 2017.

Sadly the cancer spread very aggressively and My mum was admitted to the Northern Centre for Cancer Care mid September 2017 sadly she passed away on the 22nd September 2017. The care and compassion shown to my mum and us from all staff on the unit was unbelievable. They really all are amazing and guided myself and my 2 sisters and the rest of our family through the worst time imaginable.

I truly will never forget these amazing people

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback regarding the care of your mum at NCCC at Freeman Hospital. Our sympathies are with you and your family on her passing, however we are pleased we were able to support her following her admission in September and the family that were involved in her care.

We have forwarded to the directorate concerned, who will share with the staff involved and we know will be encouraged by your kind words.
