About: University Hospital Lewisham / Accident and emergency

I was taken to A&E by ambulance and passed over to the Urgent Care Centre. It was just after midday and the department was very crowded and busy. However, after a 2 hour wait, once I was seen I progressed through various areas such as triage, doctor, bloods and CT scan in an organised way. Staff, although busy were friendly and professional and did not rush their time with me. I felt they were knowledgeable and thorough.
