"Excellent maternity care"

I recently had my fourth baby at St Mary's. This was my fourth c-section and I was quite nervous. I was looked after in such a caring and supportive manner from the very beginning. The doctors and midwives gave me reassurance every step of the way. I was shown great kindness when staff could see how nervous I was on the day of the section. My husband and were involved in my care every step if the way. Despite the midwives being extremely busy I felt they gave me their full attention every time they were with me. They were just so helpful and kind it made this time innour lives so happy and an overall lovely experience.

Thank you for your positive comments posted on the NHS Choices website regarding your care within the Maternity Services at Saint Mary’s Hospital. It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our midwifery and medical staff. The Trust has introduced a Behavioural framework within which all members of the midwifery and medical teams practice so it was reassuring to read that you found staff attentive, helpful and kind throughout your admission. I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Dr Tower, Clinical Director for Obstetrics and Mrs Symington, Head of Midwifery and the staff involved. We wish you and all your family well.
