"Outstanding kindness and care."

What I liked

I was incredibly anxious and was reassured and made to feel very safe and well cared for during my surgery. Kindness above all was exceptional and matters most to me.

There was a great deal of empathy and compassion displayed by all concerned; Nursing teams, Doctors, Anaesthetist and theatre staff.

My management of care was communicated excellently throughout, there were opportunities to ask questions every step of the way and so I felt very well informed.

What could be improved

I would have appreciated it if my husband could have stayed with me. I feel this would have reduced my anxiety levels to a degree. Although I did fully appreciate the lack of space to accommodate this for every patient would have been difficult.

Thank you to everyone caring for me on F6, theatres and recovery on Friday 23rd September on the afternoon list, you were all tremendous and very caring and I am very appreciative that you kept me safe and well.
