The MDU was excellent the midwives there were professional, friendly and treated my daughter with respect.
At 28 weeks my daughter was diagnosed with OC in pregnancy they were brilliant and done weekly monitoring checks of her babies movements and bloods couldn't of asked for better care and at each step they explained exactly what she might expect and gave her options.
Advised by the medical team my daughter was induced at 38+ weeks as her bile levels had gone up which could of been harmful to the baby.
She was disappointed that she couldn't give birth in the birthing centre as due to her condition she had to go to the Consultancy Led Maternity Unit.
All in all her experience was really nice and on 28 March 2018 after 8 hours of labour I saw my beautiful granddaughter being born.
I would thoroughly recommend this Maternity Unit and the parenting classes specially the breastfeeding one was excellent.
