"5* A and E"

I attended Accident and Emergency on May 22nd. I had an asthma attack at work. The ambulance crew were fantastic. Once at Grimsby Hospital I was seen by the Registrar almost immediately. I was checked frequently and reassured by the Nurses and the Departmental Sister. The Registrar saw me a little later and prescribed medication to take home....and this was supplied straightaway.

The department was spotlessly clean, including non touch taps. Staff were happy and although the department was busy there was a calmness.

I was treated and on my way home in 3 hours.

This department is exemplary. Why is there such a difference between Grimsby A and E and Pilgrim In Boston.

I am full of praised for this department, I received treatment in a timely manner by cheerful, professional staff. Thank you.
