"Salt of the earth"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Outpatients

(as the patient),

I had a minor procedure on  my tummy yesterday when I was seen by Helen and Christy who were both wonderful. I needed an injection into the soft tissue in my stomach which made be a bit anxious as I don't like injections at the best of times, Helen was there to support me all the time. She explained what the procedure would entail, held my hand when the injection was being given and had a banter with me to keep me distracted and calm.

Christy carried out the procedure, she was absolutely wonderful.

They were both the salt of the earth.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback which I have shared with the minor ops team. I am glad to hear you felt supported as it can be a very anxious time and a little chat and reassurance can make all the difference. I hope your wound is healing well.

Thanks again.

Kirsty
