"My family had had enough of my binge drinking."

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / New Forest

(as a service user),

I first came to Inclusion in 2017 as a "last resort" as my family had had enough of my binge drinking. I found the group positive as I then knew I wasn't the only one. Hearing other peoples stories helps 🙂 I need support to stop - my ultimate goal and this service is really important as I need to open up and be honest.

oscarfr56, thanks so much for your feed back. We are really happy to hear that you are finding our groups so beneficial.

We are constantly looking to improve the groups and interventions we offer in the New Forest and feed back like this is so valuable as it tells us that we are on the right track.

You clearly feel that the groups are open, honest and that people have the opportunity to share their own experiences. This is a good indication that the groups are being facilitated well and that a positive environment is being created for those attending.

Keep sharing you ideas and experiences with your recovery worker and with the group and we are sure that you will continue path to where you would like to be.

Also, ask you recovery worker or group facilitator about our service user forums in the New Forest. As well as care opinion, these give you the opportunity to change our services for the better and ensure your voice is heard.

Thanks again.
