crocodileby59, thank you so much for your feedback. We are very encouraged to hear that you have taken advantage of the support on offer from our New Forest services and used them in a positive way on your recovery journey.

Thank you for raising the issue about opening times in the New Forest. Of course, the New Forest is a unique setting and a very large geographical area so we are constantly assessing the numbers of people accessing our three hubs in the region. This helps decide things such as which days to open each satellite clinic, how many days we open each site, which days our partner organisations have use of our buildings, and how many of our team members work in each place. We also have to consider other factors such as the availability of public transport in each area for people to attend the services.

We currently have bases in Totton, New Milton and Ringwood and I think it is worth considering that if you would like to attend for more structured support, recovery activities or drop in support then speak to your recovery worker to find out what we have going on in the other sites during the week.

In addition, we are also looking to develop our community activities and out of hours activities and we have some exciting plans around this. I would also like to invite you to take part in our service user forums around the New Forest so we can discuss any ideas you have to improve the service. Again, please ask your recovery worker or group facilitator for details.
