About: Dewsbury Health Centre

(as the patient),

I was booked in for a coil refit which I was very nervous about as I had heard and read it wasn't a very nice experience. Much to my delight I was taken care of by Wendy at the Dewsbury clinic! Wendy was very informative, calming, knowledgeable and made me feel reassured the whole time. She explained what she needed to do and why and kept checking that I was ok and not in too much pain. Wendy also shared some of her vast knowledge on the menopause which I found really useful and have shared with friends. I was not able to leave until Wendy was happy that my pain was minimal and my blood pressure/heart rate were as they were when I arrived.

A great amount of care which made a visit I was dreading into something that was actually fine :)

We are pleased you had such a positive experience here and that Wendy was able to provide the support and advice you needed. The team here really do put patients at the heart of everything they do and quite understand that some people will feel anxious about attending their appointments. Hopefully, after reading your comments anyone else who might have reservations will see that there is a nothing to worry about and they will be looked after and cared for by an experienced, knowledgeable team who have their best interests at heart.
