I attended the Treatment Center on Monday 21st May of r a Kidney Stent Removal.
I was greeted by a student nurse who introduced herself and explained what was due to happen. She took me to a cubical, took my ops and filled in all the paperwork. She was chatty but professional throughout.
Once I was changed and sat waiting for my operation, the nursing staff came to check on me on regular occasions and kept me upto date on a few short delays that had occurred, especially one nurse.
One of the nurses escorted me to the treatment room and stayed with me, and kept me talking throughout the procedure to help to keep me calm.
The doctor explained the procedure and kept me informed throughout.
Once completed, I was taken back to a bed to relax with a cup of coffee and a biscuit.
The staff at the Treatment Center headed up by a Sister deserve a big thank you for the friendly and supportive manner they all show. The cleanliness of the center and the efficiency overall.
"Friendly and supportive"
