About: Barnsley Hospital Phoenix Futures / Barnsley drug and alcohol services

(as a service user),

Barnsley General Hospital - A&E and experience on ward.

I am not very happy with my entire experience, I felt the the fact that I am having an alcohol problems was frowned upon. I believe I have been turned away despite having serious stomach/liver problems on several occasions .

Widening Horizons - In general a good experience and project. Sometimes Ifeel that staff should practice what they preach. Staff should be role models but often it seems like one rule for one and another rule for another.

SMT/Kendray - nothing but praise for this service

Hi Thanks you for raising your concerns, I would urge you to ring one of the managers at Widening horizons - either Vanessa or Leigh, they would be happy to discuss any issues directley with you, and come to a resolution. I have informed them of this post.

As for your post about Barnsley General - I cannot deal with that and suggest you submit a formal complaint to the hospital as there will be a system in place to do so. I am sure when you ring one of the WH managers will be able to point you in the right direction. Thanks
