I was a new patient at the Lea Surgery and the experience I had the 3 times I went was REALLY bad. First of all the staff was rude, especially the nurse who did half of an STI test to me (because they are so unequipped, she asked me to come back another time as she didn't have the material anymore to do a simple blood test).

The rooms are messy, the place is grim in general, and the toilets in the reception hall was covered in blood and other things on the walls and floors. I was so shocked I'm never going there again.

Dear Patient, I am saddened to hear that you had a bad experience and I do apologise for this.

The toilets are cleaned every day 7 days a week by a professional cleaning company.

They are also checked twice a day morning and afternoon by our staff.

We did have an occasion where a patient had an unfortunate accident and messed up the toilet and did not inform a member of staff.

It was only brought to our attention by another patient and we immediately closed the toilet until it could be professionally cleaned.

I suspect this may have possibly been the occasion you are referring to, but there was absolutely no blood on the walls or the floors.
