On 11th MAY I was admitted to Pilgrim Hospital for a total knee replacement. The procedure which had been explained to me went just as planned. The whole team were absolutely wonderful. A special mention for the anaesthetist who was the most calming influence and as my utmost admiration. Aftercare was carried out on the Bostonian wing, were all care from the nursing and ancillary staff was carried out faultlessly. I was discharged on 13th May and hopefully heading for a total recovery. I thank you all very much for making a traumatic experience as painless as possible. After all the adverse publicity which people delight in, I wish my views could be aired.
I remain yours
Dennis Ryan.
