"Not verry good"

Most of the staff were very respectfull and kind, but they never done anything for you just left you to your own devices and hardly ever come to you for a 1 to 1 chat. Even when you asked for a chat they didn't always follow it though and left you waiting I was told before going in I would only be ther for a few days, even tho I wasn't sectioned I still didn't leave for 5 weeks and even when I asked to be discharged they would say they would sort it out and never did. I felt like it helped in the short term. After I came out of hospitail I just feel back into old habits. Had no positive affect on my life at all. Pluss the housing lady had told the council I had been dignosised with bpd 4 months later I find out that i possibly didn't as my gp couldn't see it on my notes. Then I get a sick note before that and the gp put bpd and psychosis on my sick note ! Why did he put psychosis on it I never had psychosis when I was in hospital. Also if they did dignose me with somthing they should have spoke to me about it maybe ? So who's at fault here is it the housing lady telling me lies or the staff ? Idk bit either way i looked like the idiot in the end. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

Thank you for your feedback to this website and it is good to hear that you found most of our staff was very respectful and kind.

We endeavour to have a 1 to 1 with all our patients at least twice a day, however during busy periods on the ward occasionally these do get missed, nonetheless every patient is spoken to and/or observed every hour.

I am sorry for the confusion over your diagnosis, in general, all our patients see their consultant at least once a week.

During this meeting plans are discussed for your treatment both in and out of hospital as well as discussion around any diagnosis. It is saddening to hear that you “just feel back into old habits” once you had left hospital.

The transition from hospital can be difficult, to make this transition easier NSFT offers’ several courses through the Recovery Collage. This can be accessed through the Trust’s website and you care coordinator will be able to support your access to these courses. I would urge you to enrol on some of the Recovery College courses as this support positive mental health.
