"The best GP surgery ever!"

I have recommended this surgery to many friends. All of the doctors are fantastic and treat you as an individual. They have online appointment booking which is brilliant - i can book an appointment at a time that's convenient and have always been able to see someone within a day or two.

They also have early morning appointments from 07:30 which can be fantastic for those of us that work.

Ive always been treated with dignity - when was the last time you can remember a doctor shaking your hand and introducing themselves to you?? This is not unusual at Kings Norton Surgery!

The doctors and nurses have always dealt with issues sensitively and ive never felt rushed during an appointment. I recently supported a friend during a period of severe mental illness. On all the occasions i went with him to the surgery we were never rushed by the GPs. They understood that this was a complex case and listened to all of our concerns. I found this particularly fantastic as i work for a mental health charity. I hear stories every day of people who are too anxious to speak to their GP as they feel rushed or not listened to. If you have any mental health problems, whether it be stress, depression or more severe illnesses like psychosis and schizophrenia, then i can hand on heart say that the GPs at this surgery will treat you properly and kindly.

I also wanted to give particularly positive feedback about a particular doctor. Ive seen her myself and she was incredibly warm, welcoming and dealt with me sensitively. My partner has also seen her and said the same. She is also the doctor of a close friend, who has a lot of physical and mental health problems - he often struggles engaging with medical professionals and its a testament to this doctor that he now prefers to see no-one else. He says that she is very understanding and sticks to her word.
