After having a car accident I contacted my doctors to be checked over, I was seen straight away and checked over very carefully. Thanks to my doctors recommendation I was able to get physiotherapy treatment very quickly which is now begining to help. I was also prescribed appropriate painkillers by my doctor and had another check over by a student doctor who was present.
On every occassion I have needed to see a doctor I have been able to get a same day appointment, which on occasion has been very helpful, as I suffer with high blood pressure, diabetes, depression and chronic spinal pain.
I would like to take this opportunity to praise the skills and efficiency of the doctors, nurses and staff at Birley health centre who all perform their duties in an exemplary manner providing an excellent model for student medics who are attached there.
