"Excellent care during crisis"

I had a real bad morning this morning - things getting on top of me, and generally not able to cope. I have had problems with depression and stress previously but this morning was something else.

I didn't feel my problems were a medical emergency, but I did need help urgently. So I sought help from my G.P. Practice.

I fully understand the pressures of getting appointments, and didn't think I would be able to be seen that day, but the staff that the surgery showed understanding and I had an appointment 1 hour after presenting.

I would love to share the name of the G.P. I saw, but I don't think it is allowed. What I can say is he was fantastic, he took so much time to listen, to understand, to empathise and offer solutions. I can't thank him enough, and although 'It's his job' this chap went the extra mile to listen and that has made a BIG difference.
