Maxfax and Ward A5 are full of caring, amazingly trained professional people that actually listen, sympathise and bend over backwards to make sure you have the best care and least worrying visit imaginable.

I can not recommend these nhs people enough, after being turned away by my own doctor, emergency dentist then having to beg and plead to be seen at Doncaster A&E, Maxfax stepped in and took control and took care of me when I was a complete mess.

A broken tooth, abscess’s and a bone infection took its toll on me, from the moment I walked in the door I was greeted and reassured everything will be ok because I do have a fear of dentists which could be seen on my face. Explaining the process, answering my questions, putting my mind at rest was no trouble and not rushed, felt personal and caring and nothing was too much trouble.

Staff on the ward A5 who looked after me were also fantastic, no complaints, friendly, nothing too much trouble made so much of a difference to my nervous stay. The after care from them was next level, talk to you on a personal level and not as a patient, always there to help and advise. Food was pretty good too when I was actually up to eating lol, will actually be a little sad to go home as there are some amazing people here and they work very very hard from start to finish.

This wasn’t my first operation, however this seemed more nerve racking than anything I have ever faced but somehow they knew, they reassured, they explained and gave me words of encouragement on a personal level again and not like it is a pre programmed thing to say.

Maxfax coming to check on me a couple of times after my operation showed how much genuine care each one of the team have, taking time to sit and talk to me, listen to me and give me advice that I needed. You’re all amazing people working as an amazing team, don’t change anything as it is perfect!!

Maxfax and Ward 5, I honestly cannot thank you enough for what you have done for me and if leaving this little review helps then it is the least I can do. Many thanks to you wonderful people for the tiring long hours you work to help people like myself and make a difference, credit where credit is due.
